SCHOOL NOTES
The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 4,117 undergraduates have qualified for the Fall 2010 Dean’s List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, 28 other states and more than a dozen countries.
To be included on the dean’s list, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.
Matthew Talbot of Presque Isle was named to the URI Fall 2010 Dean’s List.
USM announces fall 2010 Dean’s List
The following full-time, in-state students have been named to the University of Southern Maine dean’s list for the Fall 2010 semester. To be named, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or above and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Local students making the list include: Christine Savage, of Chapman; and Sara Dube, Eagle Lake.
