Young adults to meet at bar to discuss faith

PRESQUE ISLE — It may seem like an unusual mix, but the Theology on Tap program mixes a relaxed bar atmosphere and serious, challenging discussions about faith. For the first time in Aroostook County, this international program will bring Catholic young adults (in their 20s and 30s) and their friends to listen to speakers, share conversation and gain new insights into faith.
The next session will take place Thursday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Crow’s Nest, 150 Maysville Street. The topic will be “Laying it down for the love of the Lord,” a witness talk by Fr. Aaron Damboise and Tracy Guerrette.
Theology on Tap is an offering of RENEW International, a Catholic not-for-profit organization based in New Jersey. RENEW has a 25-year history of promoting spiritual renewal and lay leadership across six continents.
