Promoting tourism

Aroostook County Tourism and the Northern Maine Development Commission in partnership with the Houlton Chamber of Commerce sponsored a luncheon and presentation for business owners and members of non-profit organizations. This meeting held at the Shiretown Motor Inn & Suites focused on the goals needed to reach out to tourists that visit the area and how to increase the visibility of what the area offers. More than two dozen attendees came from throughout Aroostook County.
