Elementary and high school students in Limestone put their green thumbs to the test last fall readying a flower bed at the front of the school. High school students prepped the soil and elementary students made certain that the bulbs were buried just deep enough to produce their spring blossoms. The fourth-grade class worked closely with Kimber Noyes of Noyes Flower and Plant Shop in Caribou and became quite the expert gardeners in order to lend a helping hand to their classmates. The flowers, which haven’t seemed to mind the seemingly indescisive weather fluctuations of spring, started blooming in late April.
