To the editor:
For the past several months, I have been attending the meetings for the Citizens for Responsible City Management. I did not realize until I saw and heard for myself how much time and work this group puts in concerning several issues within the city of Caribou, such as the city budget, the high mil rate, the high taxes, how your tax dollars are being spent and what they are being spent on.
They do not do this for personal gain or self-recognition. When they win, everybody wins. I commend the Citizens for Responsible City Management on what they are doing for the citizens of Caribou. Maybe more people should sit up and take notice as to how this city is run. Don’t complain after it’s too late.
