The staff and administrators at the Caribou Technology Center recently honored their Outstanding Career and Technical Education students at an awards ceremony/picnic on May 27. Students, family members and friends were welcomed by Ralph Conroy, Caribou Technology Center director, to the annual event.

During the awards program Conroy recognized Royce Landeen as the Tech Center’s Outstanding Student of the Year.
Named as Outstanding Students for individual CTE programs were: Auto Body Repair, Corey Felix and Kyle Pooler; Automotive Technology, Kevin Godin and Nick Rossignol; Commercial Drivers License, Levi Swan; Large Equipment Maintenance and Operations, Jordyn Madore; Electronics/Computer Servicing, Jeffrey Rossignol; Food Service, Michael Conrad; Residential Construction, Dylan Ouellette; and Welding/Metal Fabrication, Royce Landeen and Scott Fisher.
Caribou Technology students who competed at SkillsUSA in Bangor were recognized and Tech Center Scholarships were announced. Receiving the Vocational Teacher’s Scholarship was Meagan Wood; the Butch Barnes Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Adam Chartier; receiving the Mark David Leblanc Memorial Scholarship was Kevin Godin and presented with the Lawrence C. Beaulieu Memorial Scholarship was Mason Rossignol.
