Doug and Patty Spurlock of Livingston, Texas, and Daniel and Sherry Peterson of Hawkins, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandi  Lynn  Spurlock to Scott Doughty  Walsh, son of David and Kathy Walsh of Blaine, Maine.

Sandi is a 2000 graduate of Lisbon Falls High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta. Sandi is the granddaughter of Darla Kramer of Paris, Texas.

Scott is a 2001 graduate of Central Aroostook High School, Mars Hill, and a 2003 Respiratory Therapy graduate of Southern Maine Technical College, South Portland, ME. Scott is the grandson of the late Wendell and Lorraine Doughty of Fort Fairfield, and Joan and the late Verlane Walsh of Mars Hill.

Scott (RT) and Sandi (Emergency Room RN) are both employed at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center in The Woodlands, Texas.

An October 15, 2011 wedding is planned in Lufkin, TX.
