Zumba classes
Zumba classes are being offered at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center on Tuesdays from 9-10 a.m. Thursdays from 9-10 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. Check with the instructors for fee schedule.
High impact aerobics
Aerobics is being offered on Monday and Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8-9 a.m. The fee is $5 per class, 10 classes for $30 or 20 classes for $50.
Power of Prevention exercise classes
The Power of Prevention exercise class is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. There is no fee for this program.
Cary exercise class
The Cary exercise class meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The fee is $1 per class.
County Cycle Classic Bicycle Race
The annual County Cycle Classic bicycle race will be held on Sunday July 10. Race time for this 25-mile race from Van Buren to Caribou will be at 8 a.m. at the Acadian Village in Van Buren. There are three divisions: Touring, All Terrain and Road Racing with age groups for males and females. Ribbons will be awarded to first- and second-place finishers in the male and female divisions/categories as well as overall male and female finisher. Bicycle helmets are required to participate.

Outdoor swimming pool
The outdoor swimming pool is open and the hours for general swim are as follows: Monday through Friday 2-4 p.m. and Monday and Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Children 6 years of age and under must be accompanied on the pool deck at all times by a parent or designated guardian. Note children that are not potty trained must wear rubberized elastic legged coverings in the water.
