On Saturday, July 9th, 2011, Bonnie Graham McKay, 69, went to be with the Lord. Bonnie grew up in Houlton, Maine and is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Woodrow “Bill” McKay.
She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses, Roxanne and Troy Fish of Weston, Jamie McKay and her fiancé, Dave Brown of Houlton, Janet and Billy Brewer of Bridgewater, and Kelly and Derek Agnew of Weston; her brother and his wife, Bob and Rainie Aucoin of Houlton; her special aunt, Georgina Estabrook of Hodgdon.
Bonnie was blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Andrea, Todd and Cooper Willard, Joshua, Christie and Ava Fish, Ryan and Dustin Fish, Alexandra and Chelsea McKay, Will, Gabe and Sammy Brewer, and her grand-dog, Bailey Agnew.
Bonnie was predeceased by her brothers, Douglas Graham and Orville “Sandy” Graham, and her sister, Gretchen Watson. She had several special sisters- and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
We would like to say a very special thank you to Dr. Ted Sussman for his round-the-clock support he provided our family during the past several weeks of her illness.
A graveside ceremony was held at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton on Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Bonnie McKay to Danforth Habilitation Association Recreation Fund, where she had been employed for 23 years.
