Dubois plays well in Mars Hill Open

    The Mars Hill Open Rotary Golf Tournament was held at the Mars Hill Country Club June 25 and 26 with 70 golfers taking part. Although there were some rain delays on Saturday, Sunday was a great day to play golf.
    The A division gross winners were: Phil Pelletier of Presque Isle (148), James Leavitt of Mars Hill (149) and David Dubois of Island Falls (150). First net was Tim Carlson of Mars Hill (142), followed by Randy Pickle of Woodstock (144) and Mark Hughes of Woodstock (145). The B division gross winners were: Scott Bernard of Mars Hill (155), Don Clark of Old Town (162) and Barry Webster of Lee (164). First net was Andrew McQuade of Mars Hill (131), followed by David Wishart of Woodstock (136) and Harry Orser of Mars Hill (138).
    The C division gross winners were: David Nadeau of Old Town (179), followed by John Clark of Dedham (190) and Frank Burnell of Old Town (201). First net was Brian York of Old Town (140), followed by Jerry Lucas of Old Town (148), and Jim Evans of Old Town (152).
