John Davis, a self-employed presidential hopeful for 2012 from Grand Junction, Colo., will make multiple stops in Maine Wednesday, July 20, as part of his tour across the country. He is slated to appear at Brenda’s Restaurant in Sherman on Wednesday, July 20, at about 4:30 p.m.
Davis has been called a “low profile presidential candidate.” Some have called him the Republican presidential “dark-horse,” and a “long shot.” He certainly doesn’t have political celebrity or entertainer status. And he most certainly is not a politician.
Davis’ Votercade grass roots tour plans to visit all 3,143 counties in the United States. He has visited with thousands of people with over 34,000 miles on the road in 800 counties of 21 states. “We’re spreading the seeds around and it’s starting to grow,” he said.
Davis said, “I’m a leader that knows how to roll up my sleeves. I know how to work hard, how to put a good team together, and how to be effective. I am the guy that has what it takes to make the tough decisions and to get the job done. I have what it takes to be the President of the United States of America. For more information on Davis, visit his website www.johndavisforpresident.org.
