Local lottery winners named

Two local residents had luck on their side when purchasing Maine Lottery scratch tickets, winning $50,000 combined.
Sheri Doughty-Williams, of Fort Fairfield, purchased a $2 10X Lucky at the Fort Fairfield One Stop. For her efforts, she earned $25,000.
David Parsons, of Presque Isle, also won $25,000, after purchasing a $2 Mother’s Day Gift instant ticket at JP Cash Market in Presque Isle.
Maine Lottery officials advise participants to play responsibly.
