Farwell, Tina M., 45, May 4, 2011. Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.
WYTOPITLOCK – Tina M. Farwell, 45, died unexpectedly May 4, 2011 at her residence. She was born Feb. 26, 1966 at Houlton and was the daughter of Leland and Evelyn (McLaughlin) Suitter.
Tina will be missed by her many loved ones. She had a smile that would light up the room.
Tina enjoyed many outdoor activities. She loved to hunt most of all. Riding around bird hunting was one of her favorite things to do. She would drop anything for a day to hunt. She really enjoyed her hunting days with her life partner, Stephen Voisine. He will have many memories of those times and many more over the 16 years they shared together. They were everything to each other. She tagged her first deer while he was working in the woods close by. You would have thought she won the lottery with how excited she was. She also enjoyed fishing, especially with her grandchildren. To see her grandkids faces when they caught (the big one) would make her day. They would have bets going on who would catch the biggest fish.
Tina would always take the time to plan a few nights at her childrens’ house to catch up or just enjoy being with her family. Holidays and birthdays became a very special time for Tina to share with her grandkids. She loved to outdo Santa with her gifts. The grandchildren always said “Mammy and Bampa get the best presents.”
Tina had a very strong bond with her children. She wasn’t only a good mother but a best friend. Someone they knew they could always lean on when they needed. Even if they were just having a bad day, they could always call her and she would listen and give advice when needed. Sometimes she would receive five phone calls a day, but that didn’t matter. She was always there for her family when they needed her.
Tina and her sister Gina shared a close bond growing up. They went through a lot with each other and had each other through it all. They had many memories they shared.
Tina said many times “Your family is always going to be there for you. Friends may come and go. Your family are your true friends.”
Tina had step-children and grandchildren with Stephen. She always treated and thought of them as her own. She had a lot of love for them as well. They always had her to turn to if they needed and she loved that they had that closeness.
Tina will be missed dearly and NEVER forgotten. She touched many peoples lives and will always live on in their hearts and memories.
Tina is survived by her mother, Evelyn; her life partner, Stephen Voisine of Wytopitlock; her children, Joseph Farwell III, of Oakfield, Ashley Farwell of Springfield and Shauna Farwell of Houlton; six brothers, Jason Suitter, Eugene Brannen, Steve Swallow, Stanley Swallow, Leland Suitter and Lloyd Suitter; five sisters, Gina McDonald, Karen Watson, Cindy Suitter, Anna Ahlstrand, and Sybil Heath; eight grandchildren Logan, Kaden, Aliya, Ashton, Brayden, Liliana, Sarah, and Samantha; her stepchildren Cindy Voisine, Stephen Voisine, and Stephanie Osborne; many nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
