TEMPORARY TRAIL CLOSURE

According to the Washburn ATV Club, the section of trail by the old McCains factory in Washburn will be closed off soon for a period of two to four weeks due to the cleanup of the old factory site. The club is working to reroute the trail along the main road from the former Griffin’s One Stop, across the bridge to the boat landing where riders can then pick up the trail to Mapleton. Pictured here is the trail where it intersects with Gardner Creek Road. To get to Griffin’s, take the trail to the left at this intersection. For updated information, visit the club’s Facebook page.
