A memorial wall, created by reunion organizers, and dedicated to the memory of the 30 deceased Class of 1971 classmates was on display throughout the evening. Those attending the 40th reunion also enjoyed a video compiled of earlier Caribou days, highlighted by school day photos.

Following dinner, Butch Doody, serving as master of ceremonies, kept his former classmates laughing as he proceeded to help determine those who would be celebrated as: traveling the farthest for the reunion; married the longest/fewest years; most grandchildren; most great-grandchildren; changed the least/most; and married the most times.

At the completion of the dinner and program, members of the Caribou High School Class of 1971 listened and danced to the tunes from their high school days, provided by Good Vibrations with DJs Steve and Jim Leighton.
