Houlton Pioneer Times Photo/Joseph CyrChadwick Florist recently finished its “Flower Power” summer camp for kids. The six-week summer camp was held every Wednesday from 2-3:30 p.m. and for ages 8-13. The group did projects each week that they were able to take home. Some of the projects included: mosaic plant pots, dried flower press, garden planters, sunflower smiley face, a dog made out of flowers, pictures of dried flowers, a caterpillar made from crazy daisies and an ice cream Sunday made from fresh flowers. Among those participating were, front from left, Jordan Farnham, Cole Winslow and Lauren McGillicuddy; and back, Sarah McGillicuddy, Sarah Hutchinson, Whitney Gravel, Olivia Winslow, Austin Winslow, Elizabeth Ward and Zach Reece.
