Gagnon named bank’s Aroostook County market leader
PORTLAND — Officials with KeyBank have announced that Senior Vice President Steven Gagnon of Caribou has been named Aroostook County market leader.
In this new role, Gagnon will oversee the eight KeyBank branches in Aroostook County, while also managing the core business banking activity in the area.
“Aroostook County is a very important market for KeyBank,” said Sterling Kozlowski, president, Maine District, KeyBank. “Steve has served his community well over the years as our business banking leader and we believe he will continue to ensure we are providing excellent service, advice, and products to our clients in the County in his new position.”
Gagnon, a native of Caribou, is a 33-year veteran of KeyBank. He has been providing KeyBank clients with comprehensive and customized financial solutions since 1978 when he joined KeyBank in the management trainee program.
He most recently served as the business banking sales leader for KeyBank’s northern district of Maine which spans from Augusta to Fort Kent.
Gagnon earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine at Orono. He is a board member and treasurer for the Aroostook Partnership for Progress, a member of the Caribou Rotary Club, board member, treasurer and past president of the Caribou Country Club and a member of the loan committee for the Caribou Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
