LIMESTONE — Talk of the Town Salon in Limestone may have undergone a change in operators, but it still features the same great styles and services their customers have enjoyed for years.

Limestone Chamber Vice President Michelle Albert, stylist Danielle Paradis, Jo-Ellen Kelley, stylist/owner of Talk of the Town, Valerie O’Neal, Chamber President Joe Lapierre, Chamber Treasurer Mary Amuzzini, Chamber Secretary Grace O’Neal and O’Neal’s grandson Nicholas O’Neal ceremoniously cut the celebratory ribbon for Talk of the Town in Limestone on Saturday, Aug. 27. After a change in operators, owner and stylist Val O’Neal is back at the helm and brought with her two new stylists, Ashley King and Danielle Paradis.

Talk of the Town offers manicures, pedicures, facials and tanning with walk-ins always welcome.

Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday’s from 7:30 a.m. until noon, the stylists understand that hectic work schedules can make it hard to set-up appointments; that’s why the ladies are willing to extend hours of operation when needed to better accommodate their customers.

“I’m glad to be doing hair again; I’m happy to be working for customers again,” said owner/stylist Val O’Neal, adding that the salon has always experienced a positive rapport with their customers of all ages, both male and female — and all stylistic preferences. Just last Thursday, O’Neal gave an excited young man a Mohawk.

“We try to accommodate our customers the best we can,” she added.

The comfortable ambiance of the salon leads to a positive experience for everyone, and a fun setting for the stylists as well.

“I think it’s rewarding and fun — we have a blast here,” Paradis said. Her favorite part of the job is stylistic transformations — taking a customer out of their normal hair routine and providing them with a new flattering cut and style with a boost of self-confidence to take home with them from the salon.

Talk of the Town also works with customers wishing to make a donation to Locks of Love.
