The leader of the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Maine, Bishop Richard Malone, will conduct “Blue Mass” at Caribou’s Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. to pay tribute to the state’s police, firefighters and paramedics. Members of Maine’s public safety agencies have been invited to attend in uniform and color guards will be on hand and vehicles representing the various departments will be on display around the church grounds. The Caribou Fire Department will also host its annual 9-11 Memorial Service on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. in front of the station.
