Spud 150: Martin wins again

CARIBOU — Shawn Martin, formerly of Frenchville, is now the back to back winner of the Spud 150, the featured race Saturday at Spud Speedway.

There were four lead changes and Martin lead 115 laps of the event. Andy Saunders of Ellsworth finished second and Connor Thibeau of Fort Fairfield was third.

Hogan Tire Street Stocks — 1, Mark York; 2, Todd Rollins; and 3, Dana York.

Clukey’s Auto Supply Fast 4’s — 1, Keith Thibeau, Jr.; 2, Chris Walsh; and 3, Rick Saucier.

Coca Cola Super Streets — 1, Dillon MacDougal; 2, Kris Watson; and 3, Matt Farnham.

On Saturday Sept. 17 Spud Speedway is offering “Day of Destruction” action. Bomber Race, Chain Races, Blindfold Races, Ramp Racing, Tuff Trucks, Lawn Mower Races, and a Demolition Derby all in the same night.
