AR Nora PelletierWOODLAND — Nora Jane Pelletier, 88, died September 8, 2011, at Van Buren following a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was born at Allagash, November 15, 1922, the daughter of Charles and Ester (Bishop) Kelly. She was educated in the Fort Kent school system and was a self-employed seamstress for many years. She married Maynard Pelletier on March 8, 1942.

Surviving in addition to her husband of Woodland are three sons, Dale Pelletier of Fort Fairfield, Larry Pelletier of Tucson, AZ and Michael Pelletier of Caribou; one daughter, Terry Murphy and her husband, John of Fort Kent; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Nora was predeceased by a son, John Pelletier and a daughter, Dina Kelly.

A memorial service is being planned for the summer of 2012.
