The Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its annual conservation awards and dinner Tuesday, Oct. 25, beginning 5:30 p.m. at the Horn of Plenty restaurant in Houlton. Conservation awards will be presented to Corey Farms as the “2011 Outstanding Conservationist” and Don Collins as “Conservation Partner”. The dinner is open to the public but pre-registration is required. Cost is $18 per person.
