Benefit dance in honor of Taylor

CARIBOU — For many years, Rick Taylor has graciously and generously donated his time to sing and play guitar at several churches, benefits and nursing homes.

But now, he’s in need of the community’s help.

Taylor was diagnosed with lung and bone cancer recently, and medical expenses are mounting.

That’s why his friends have coordinated a benefit dance in his honor, featuring lively local bands which friends agree would be to Rick’s liking.

Light refreshments will be served during the benefit on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Caribou V.F.W.

Admission is free and all donations will be greatly appreciated.

For those wishing to send their support but unable to attend, donations may be mailed to close friend Ray Wood at 688 Tangle Ridge Road in Perham, Maine, 04766. Checks must be made payable to Rick Taylor and/or Rena Baron.

For additional information, please contact Ray Wood at 455-0908 or Doug Michaud at 493-4476.
