Aroostook County Superior Court hands down sentences

    HOULTON – The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court during the month of September.
    Larry V. Austell, 28, Atlanta, Ga.: domestic violence assault, filed on $1,000 costs.
    Mathew J. Benn, 29, Bridgewater: violating condition of release, 30 days in jail; and operating after habitual offender revocation, prior, $1,000 fine and six months in jail.
    Nancy Boles, 32, Houlton: aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, $400 fine, 10 years in prison, all but five years suspended and two years’ probation; unlawful possession of hydrocodone, $400 fine and five years in prison; and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine and one year in prison.
    Michael A. Casey, 20, Oakfield: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine and 30 days in jail; unlawful possession of oxycodone and stealing drugs, $400 fine, two years in prison, all but 90 days suspended and two years’ probation (each); violating condition of release, 30 days in jail and burglary, dismissed.
    Warren Denis, 24, Stacyville: furnishing liquor to a minor, filed without costs.
    Sarah Dougherty, 19, Bangor: disorderly conduct, offensive words, gesture, $500 fine; domestic violence assault (two counts); obstructing report of crime; and domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed (each).
    Brian K. Flewelling, 23, Sanford: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine and 24 hours in jail; and violating condition of release, 24 hours in jail.
    Darcy Henderson, 29, Amity: probation violation, 72 hours in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued; and unsworn falsification, $1,000 fine and 72 hours in jail.
    Lisa M. King, 45, Lee: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $1,000 fine.
    Marcus Labby, 31, Millinocket: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $500 fine, one year in jail, all but 21 days suspended and one-year probation; and violating condition of release, 21 days in jail.
    Arthur Ledger, 40, New Limerick: domestic violence assault, dismissed; and violating condition of release, $300 fine and 48 hours in jail.
    Richard Norton, Jr., 57, Linneus: obstructing report of crime, 30 days in jail; and assault, $300 fine, one year in prison, all but 40 days suspended and one-year probation.
    Brian S. Paquin, 47, Linneus: burglary, 20 years in prison, all but 10 years suspended and four years’ probation; criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon (two counts) and illegal possession of firearm, five years in prison (each).
    Travis J. Potter, 27, Wytopitlock: unlawful furnishing scheduled drug, $1,000 fine.
    Joan J. Shaw, 66, Webster: criminal conspiracy, $1,000 fine; and unlawful furnishing scheduled drug, dismissed.
    Joseph M. Skehan, 57, Houlton: stealing drugs, dismissed; and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $350 fine and 30 days in jail.
    Scott Stanchfield, 52, Bingham: operating under the influence, prior, $700 fine, 12 days in jail and three years’ license suspension.
    Christopher R. Stevens, 23, Houlton: operating after habitual offender revocation, prior, $1,000 fine and six months in jail.
    Calvin Thibodeau, 49, Littleton: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $500 fine, four years in prison, all but one year suspended and two years’ probation.
    Reuben R. Thomas, 30, Houlton: domestic violence assault, 180 days in jail, all suspended and one-year probation.
    Kenneth A. Williams, 42, Bangor: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $1,000 fine, eight years in prison, all but four years suspended and three years’ probation.
    Russell Oren Williams, 43, Houlton: gross sexual assault, dismissed.
    James T. Zielinski, 64, Ludlow: illegal possession of firearm, $500 fine, three years in prison, all but 60 days suspended and two years’ probation; and OUI, $500 fine, 48 hours in jail and 90-day license suspension.
