HOULTON — The annual Cruisin’ for Kids toy drive kicks off 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the annual Holiday Light Parade. The toy drive is sponsored by the North Country Cruisers and benefits local charities in Houlton.
Anyone that would like to donate a toy, can look for one of the group’s “Elves” during the parade or they can be dropped off in one of the boxes located at Polaris Cable, York’s Book Store, Beal’s Variety, Shiretown Video Variety or the Houlton Chamber of Commerce.
Those that would like to donate money for the toy drive can look for one of the many donation bottles set up at many local stores.
“We are a local club and all toys stay in the local area,” said event organizer Tim McAtee. “Also, all of the money used to buy toys is spent locally.”
Any organization in need of toys can contact the club at 532-8692.
