    HAMMOND – Elizabeth “Betty” McLean, 81, died Nov. 21, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 4, 1930 in Hammond, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (Carpenter) McIver.
    Betty was a communicant of the Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
    Betty is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Fitzpatrick and her husband, Henry, of Hammond, Jane Fitzpatrick and her husband, Eddie, of Littleton; six grandchildren, Willie, Robin, Tammy, Fred, Kenirae and Eddie, Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Sara, Jenna, Jacob, Kaelyn, Cooper, Chloe and Wyatt; one great-great-grandchild, Canden; one sister, Lois Botting of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; and three brothers, Clarence, Gene and Joe.
    Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church with Rev.
