Democracy at its worst
To the editor:
As the protesting in America continues to spread across the country and force is used to control the people, isn’t this putting America in the same positions as the countries we have condemned concerning human rights.
As we watch the scene unfold with American citizens being injured by our police; what comes next, prison terms for protesters?
If change doesn’t come in America as was promised by the people in Washington, the people will continue to protest and sooner or later will rebel. They are tired and fed up with excuses as to why the changes haven’t come and they are not going to stand for it any longer.
As I have written many times before, it appears there are many of our leaders in our country that have forgotten or never knew the rights of the American people as outlined in the Constitution.
Lest we forget, it only takes a spark to ignite a fire and once started, it is hard to get under control.
