As the holiday season rapidly approaches, what better way to relax from the hustle and bustle, or to get geared up to finish up those holiday lists, than to listen to some seasonal music.

But not just any music — for a completely captivating experience of the season, make sure you attend the 35th annual Caribou Choral Society Christmas Concert(s).

This year’s concerts “The Many Moods of Christmas,” will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou, beginning at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Presque Isle.

Under the direction of the very talented Dan Ladner, the choral group, which includes individuals from all around the area, will perform a variety of selections some of which include: “Over the River and Through the Woods,” “Little Drummer Boy,” “Let It Snow,” “Silent Night,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Jingle Bells Calypso,” “The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy,” “II est Ne,” “I’m Gonna E-mail Santa,” and “White Christmas.”

There is no admission cost to attend these concerts but goodwill donations are sincerely accepted which are applied to the cost of sheet music used by the Caribou Choral Society.

Give yourself and others the best holiday gift ever — the gift of music.
