HOULTON – Annabelle M. Lynds, 97, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 29, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born October 17, 1914, the daughter of Percy and Alma (Tilley) York.
Annabelle had a great love for crocheting, knitting, and all kinds of crafts. She also loved to play her organ. Another love was to play card games with “the girls” in her apartment building or with family.
Annabelle is survived by one beloved son, Gary Lynds; her dearest daughter-in-law, Doreen Lynds; four grandchildren, Daniel Lynds and his wife, Marla, Timothy Lynds and his wife, Cathy, Andy Lynds and his wife, Alyson, Trisha Harvey and her husband, PJ; ten great-grandchildren, Basil, Sasha, Brittany, Ericka, Cassandra, Jenna, Jake, Ben, Wyatt and Garett; five great-great-grandchildren, Paige, Jack, Olivia, Charlie and Colin. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Charlie and Claude, and two sisters, Neta and Gladys.
Friends called at the Dunn Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon with Pastor Paula Lilley officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery.
