KIWANIS READING SESSIONS

The Kiwanis Club of Presque Isle did one of its yearly readings with the SAD 1 Pre-K students. Kiwanis International calls this project Reading Around the World. Shawn Cunningham is chairperson. Club members read to the classrooms and every student gets to pick out a book to take home. This fall members read to 64 students. In the top photo, Sue Watson, club secretary, reads to students in the a.m. class. Below, Tim McMahon. Lt. Governor, joined the p.m. class for a good read as well.
