  BS-RED CROSS JOHNSON-DC-SH-52  BOARD MEMBER OF THE YEAR — Scott Johnson of Presque Isle was honored as the 2011 Board Member of the Year at the December Advisory Board meeting of the American Red Cross — Pine Tree Aroostook Chapter. According to Joyce Knorr, Aroostook County branch manager, Johnson “hit the ground running as organizer of the inaugural Racing to Save a Life event this past summer at Spud Speedway raising over $2,000 for local disaster services.” He also assumed the position of development chair for the Advisory Board and was re-elected for a second term. Johnson will be working with his committee members to plan and organize the second annual Racing to Save a Life fundraiser to be held next summer.
