Students prove hoop skills

1,000 point club
Congratulations go to Jordan McLaughlin, who scored his 1,000th point on Monday, Jan. 9, when the Washburn Beavers faced Greater Houlton Christian Academy at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Jordan scored the first 10 points of the game, which the boys went on to win 80-53.
Foul shooting champ
Congratulations to Carmen Bragg, the northern Maine foul shooting champion! She will be competing in the state shoot-out in May.
Student of the Month
Congratulations to Andrew White, the Washburn District High School Student of the Month for December.
Andrew has been working hard this year in his classes and has a great attitude.
At the Christmas Concert, Andrew sang a solo and accompanied himself on a guitar.
He has just been named to the All-Aroostook Band.
Outside of school, Andrew is busy working for the family business at White’s Service Station.
Washburn Trail Runners

Project Graduation
Washburn Project Grad 2012 is taking donations at the bottle redemption center in Washburn for this school year. Just let them know that you want to donate your bottles. Thank you to anyone that has given to us in the past. It is greatly appreciated.
