Southern Aroostook girls’ coach Harris Tucker hoped that it would be the Lady Warriors year to turn the table on Fort Fairfield. He was right.
The No. 15 Lady Warriors shocked the No. 2 Lady Tigers in overtime, 66-65 last Tuesday night in Fort Fairfield.
Jessica Tucker poured in a game-high 31 points, including seven 3-pointers, while Sable Altvater popped in 12 points and Mataya Hartin tossed in 10 more for Southern Aroostook.
Amanda Hotham led Fort Fairfield with 23 points, with Jessica Goshorn scoring nine. Sydney Churchill finished with eight and Logan Bubar, seven.
