Denton, Collins join Katahdin
DENTON
HOULTON — Katahdin Trust Company Senior Vice President of Commercial Services Peter St. John announced the appointment of Andrew S. Denton as vice president, commercial services officer with responsibilities for business lending and development in the Presque Isle and Caribou area.
“We are pleased to have Andrew Collins 
join us,” said St. John. “His years of experience in the financial services industry will be a tremendous asset in his new position at Katahdin Trust Company.”
A New Hampshire native, Denton graduated from Newfound Memorial High School in Bristol, N.H. and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry, starting in 1982 and serving in a variety of positions, most recently as director of commercial lines for Granite Group Benefits in Manchester, N.H., Dallas and Houston, Texas.
Denton currently resides in Winterville with his wife Nancy and has two grown children.
COLLINS
Katahdin Trust Company Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Vicki Smith, 
announced that Jennifer Collins has joined the bank as marketing officer. In her role, Collins will be responsible for contributing to the growth and profitability of the bank in all areas of advertising, research, contributions, public relations, online marketing efforts, and branding as the bank continues its expansion efforts.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Jennifer to our team,” said Smith. “Jennifer will be a great addition to the Bank as she comes to us with over 14 years of marketing experience in a variety of applications including public relations and marketing as well as graphic design, event planning, and broadcasting.”
Collins is a graduate of Shorter College in Rome, Ga. She most recently served as public information and marketing coordinator for Rome, with responsibilities for the advertising and marketing efforts of the Greater Rome Convention & Visitors Bureau and the city of Rome.
Collins resides in Houlton with her husband, Daniel, and their two children: Emalee and Eston.
