These young ladies took time out of their busy school vacation schedule to attend the very special 10th Annual Doll Tea Party at the Caribou Public Library, hosted by Children’s Librarian Jean Shaw on Feb. 22. Library guests included Addie Bourgoine, Marissa Jackson, Elizabeth Zell, Elle Burby, Hannah Doody, Allison Fuller, Emily Berube, Cailyn Kouhoupt, Anna Thibodeau and Julia Lopez. Also Mercy McCarthy, Arieann Davenport, Livia Bouchard, Ashlyn Bouchard, Darly Freeman, Emma Hixon, Avery Knowles, Darian Langille, Emily Monahan, Shelby Barnes, Mackenzie Hite and Abby Violette and special guest Debbie Sirois.

Arriving at the afternoon affair on Feb. 22, the library guests and their favorite dolls enjoyed a social time during which they introduced themselves and their friends to others, then seated at tables appropriately decorated for tea time, partook of afternoon tea and crumpets (actually delicious-looking cupcakes with colorful frosting and/or cookies).

Many of the young library visitors decided that tea (even with a liberal amount of sugar and milk) wasn’t really all that tasty, foregoing a refill and opting for punch instead.

Those attending the annual event included Addie Bourgoine, Marissa Jackson, Elizabeth Zell, Elle Burby, Hannah Doody, Allison Fuller, Emily Berube, Cailyn Kouhoupt, Anna Thibodeau and Julia Lopez. Also Mercy McCarthy, Arieann Davenport, Livia Bouchard, Ashlyn Bouchard, Darly Freeman, Emma Hixon, Avery Knowles, Darian Langille, Emily Monahan, Shelby Barnes, Mackenzie Hite and Abby Violette and special guest Debbie Sirois.
