MARS HILL, ME & TUCSON, AZ – Barbara Jean Ramsey, born March 31, 1942, in Mars Hill, passed away on January 17, 2012, in Tucson, AZ.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanford and Elena Stromback.

    Barbara is survived by her husband, Willard Jack Ramsey; son, Michael Ramsey; daughter, Stephanie (Bennett) Davison of Yucca Valley, CA; sister, Karen Bragdon of Glenburn, ME; sisters-in-law, Carol Cromer, Gayle Davison and Jean Ramsey, all of Modesto, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.

    Barbara graduated from Husson College, Bangor, in 1964. Her interests were many including, Diamondbacks baseball, needlepoint and oil painting. As far as weather was concerned, “the hotter the better” with plenty of blue skies as opposed to the “June gloom” of Orange County. After her retirement as an office manager, moving to Tucson, she was never bored as she always had plenty of projects going.
