New officers at the American Legion in Presque Isle

    NEW OFFICERS  PI Officers AM legion dcx sh 09 — The officers of Ray Goding Post 88, the American Legion in Presque Isle, were elected and installed at a regular supper meeting on Jan. 16. The installing team was Carl McGlauflin, past commander Post 88, Aroostook County Council and seventh district of the American Legion Department of Maine, assisted by William Sewall, past commander Post 88, acting as sergeants-at-arm. Richard Ferland served as chaplain. The 2012 officers are, from left, front row: Paul Wilson, retiring commander; Fred Grooms, Tom MacDougal and Duane Easler, members-at-large; and Ervin Murchison and Joe Whitten, sergeant-at-arms.
