Performing “We Are Young” from ‘Glee’ the Triplets (twin sisters Naomi and Nokomi Oakes Ouellet with Ariane Richard) may be young but they are extremely talented as proved through their perfect harmonizing and strong individual vocals that secured them the 2012 Northern Stars United title. The Ouellet sisters are from Lac Baker, N.B. and Richard is a resident of Clair, N.B. The 2012 Northern Star Finale was held on Sunday, March 25. NE-NorthernStar-Megan-CLR-dc1-ARSHPT-13From a fierce field of vocal competition, 19-year-old Megan Ouellette of Clair, N.B., singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” as performed by Eva Cassidy and Loretta Lynn’s, “You’re not Woman Enough to Take My Man,” won the hearts and the votes of the audience capturing the title of 2012 Northern Star. The finale event was held at the Caribou Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 25.
