CARIBOU, Maine – On Saturday, April 21, the County Patriots Young Marines and Caribou area residents will team up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer. The St. Jude Walk is an event to give area residents the opportunity to help support the life-saving mission of one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers.

Registration and the walk will be held at the Caribou Parks and Recreation Center, beginning at 10 a.m. Refreshments will be available. The public is encouraged to participate in helping the County Patriots Young Marines provide support for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“We are excited to help raise awareness and funds to support the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is to find cures and save children,” said Aimee Jordan, walk coordinator. “The St. Jude Walk will truly make a difference in helping the children of St. Jude fight cancer and other deadly diseases.”
