PRESQUE ISLE — In a continuing effort to learn what is important to the citizens of Presque Isle, City Manager Jim Bennett will be holding a one-on-one meeting with residents on Saturday, April 28. All interested individuals are invited to meet with Bennett at the Northeastland Hotel’s Sidewalk Café on Main Street from 8-9:30 a.m.

Bennett is looking to learn what’s on citizens’ minds and what they would like to see city officials do to address their interests and concerns.

“I would like to talk directly with Presque Isle citizens and listen to what they feel is important for the future of our community,” said Bennett.

“The city of Presque Isle has always been a leader in Aroostook County, and with new ideas from citizens, the community can be even better,” Bennett said.

Bennett feels the Northeastland Hotel’s Sidewalk Café is “a great place to meet with friends.” Centrally located in the heart of town, the hotel has served as a gathering spot for individuals and business personnel for decades.

“We thank them for hosting this event at their location,” said Bennett.
