BERUBE, Percy, 76, ASHLAND, at Caribou, May 13, 2012. A celebration of his life will be held at the VFW Hall in Ashland on Sat., May 26, at 1 p.m., followed by a committal service and interment at the St. Mark Cemetery, Sheridan, at 3 p.m. Arrangements by Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, Ashland.

ASHLAND American Flag ColorPercy Berube, 76, died May 13, 2012, at Maine Veterans Home in Caribou. He was born in Winterville, Sept. 4, 1935, the son of Paul and Caroline (Tardie) Berube. He was employed as a mechanic for most of his working life.

 

    Percy was a US Army veteran and a member of the VFW, LeBlanc-Junkins Post 9699 of Ashland.

    He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Veazie and husband, Daniel of Ashland; three sisters, Gloria Legassie of Presque Isle, Diane Plummer and husband, Frank of Dover-Foxcroft, Linda Pillsbury and husband, Terry of Monticello; one sister–in-law, Linda Berube of Presque Isle; two grandsons, Jacob Spittle of Mars Hill and Levi Veazie of Ashland; several nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his loving companion of many years, Lucy Dubay of Ashland.
