Selectpeople election Tuesday

Limestone’s two newest selectpeople will be determined in an election on Tuesday, June 12. There are four candidates running for open seats.

Candidates are Thomas Devoe, Brian Leighton, Fred Pelletier and Jesse Philbrick.

Pelletier is the current Limestone Board of Selectpeople chair and Devoe is also a current selectperson.

The election will be held at the Limestone Municipal Building from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Also on the ballot, Charles Kelley is running unopposed for a three-year term on the Limestone Water and Sewer District Board of Trustees, and Michelle Albert is running unopposed for a three-year term on the RSU 39 School Board.

The election takes place before Limestone’s annual Town Meeting, held on Wednesday, June 13 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the Limestone Community School.
