Prior to recently undergoing spinal fusion surgery, 14-year-old Kaleb “Cubby” Johnson of Caribou, had an opportunity to meet with a representative at Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Mass. to deliver 10 pounds of aluminum beverage tabs. For each pound of the tabs collected, the Shriner’s for Children organization is able to purchase much-needed items for patient care. To donate aluminum tab tops stop by The Cubby Thrift stores located in Caribou and Presque Isle or call 492-1579.
