Special ceremony slated on Derby Hill
The Northern Maine Soapbox Derby has announced that there will be a special race dedication of the 16th annual Northern Maine Soapbox Derby race to William “Bill” Weber.
As most knew, Bill was very involved in the community and with the Zoo crew since 1996 and every race year thereafter. His willingness to help and his attitude really made the race a positive experience for the racers.
A small ceremony is scheduled at the beginning of the race to honor his memory at Derby Hill on June 23 at 7:45 am. 
Come out and support the family, racers and community for this special race.
