HOULTON — Houlton Rotary Club President Ryan Bushey announced today that the Houlton Rotary Club is accepting requests for funding of projects for the 2012-2013 Rotary Year. All funding requests should be submitted prior to Friday, August 31, 2012 to the Houlton Rotary Club, PO Box 425, Houlton, ME 04730.
Some of the prior projects funded by the Houlton Rotary Club include: Houlton Performing Arts Center, Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum, Houlton Amphitheater, Soap Box Derby, Dollars for Scholars, Cary Library, Salvation Army, River Front Project, Houlton Humane Society, Aroostook County Historical & Art Museum, and several international projects.
The Houlton Rotary Club, with over 70 members, has served the Greater Houlton area for over 80 years. If you would like more information about submitting a request or becoming a Rotarian, please contact President Ryan Bushey.
