Disregard for nature
To the editor:
May I publicly thank the road works department of Westfield for mowing down all the beautiful wild flowers on the sides of our country dirt Tweedie Road today.
Soon it will be a brown, flower cemetery wasteland – the height of esthetic, natural beauty, as man leaves his glorious mark on earth and air everywhere.
There can be no wiser use of our tax dollars.
