Library happenings
On Friday. Aug, 17, from 6-8 p.m., Vaughn Martin of the Francis Malcolm Science Center in Easton will present a talk on all things moose. Snacks and drinks will be provided. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the area’s children from ages 3 to 10 to have fun while learning about an animal who is very special to our area.
On Saturday, Aug. 18, there will be an art show by local artist Gary Cole. This is an informal event that will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. All are welcome to support local art! The book “Washburn 150 Years of Memories” by Louise Cole and Londa Brown will also be sold at this time.
