OAKFIELD – Philip E. Brannen, 92, died August 22, 2012 in Houlton. He was born February 15, 1920 in Millinocket, the son of Owen and Claudia (McLaughlin) Brannen.
Philip was a dairy farmer from Oakfield and was also an employee of B & A Railroad.
He is survived by his five daughters, Tonia Hosford and her husband, Dallas, of Bangor, Rebecca Bolstridge and her husband, Michael, of Kenai, Alaska, Paula Morse and her husband, Dale, of Naples, Carmen Cyr and her husband, Billy, of Oakfield, Jennifer Nelson of Soldotna, Alaska; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Rena Crandall of Oakfield. He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis (Little); daughter, Edna Jean Brannen; and sister, Natalie McGraw.
