    At Eastport Saturday, the East Grand Vikings were defeated 1-0 when Shead’s John Cushing landed the ball in the twine off a Drew Greenlaw setup.
    East Grand goalie Alex Brittain blocked 15 of 16 shots. The Vikings slip to 1-5-0.
    For Shead, goalie Ryan Eylar was perfect in the posts, saving 12 of 12 shots faced.
    At Ashland on Monday, the Katahdin boys were blanked 5-0.  Goalie Cody Brownlee stopped 24 shots, while the Hornets’ J.J. Dozier made four saves.
    In Bangor on Saturday, the Patriots overpowered Katahdin, 10-0, as 10 different players scored. Katahdin goalie Matt Birmingham stopped 10 of 24 shots faced.
    Bangor Christian goalies, Byron Boutot and Jay Bishop, combined for a save on two shots.
    Last Friday, the Southern Aroostook boys were defeated 5-1 by host Greenville.
    Gage LeFay scored the Warriors’ lone goal. Goalie Austin White set back 14 of 17 shots faced.
    Greenville’s keeper made three stops on four shots.
    The Southern Aroostook Warriors topped visiting Ashland, 3-2, in Dyer Brook last Wednesday.
    Cameron Landry scored the game-winning goal, his second of the game, off a long throw-in by Dylan Porter with 5:28 left in the game. Cody Lassonde picked up the Warriors’ opening goal 46 seconds into the game on a Porter assist. Keeper White had nine saves in the game.
    For Ashland, Dozier had nine saves.
    The Houlton Shiretowners toppled visiting Schenck last Wednesday, 8-2.
    Kyle Bouchard and Jimmy Fitzpatrick each scored twice for the Shires, while Lucas Grant, Gage Hunt, Mattloe Spencer and Barrett Dunn all scored a tally. Bouchard racked up three assists, while Fitzpatrick and Grant each had one.
    The Shires are 3-2 on the season.
    On Monday, the Hodgdon/GHCA girls were defeated 4-0 by host Central Aroostook when Karli Levesque scored twice in each half. Goalie Paige Garrison was a perfect 5-for-5 in goal.
    For Hodgdon/GHCA, Cassidy Clark had five saves on 12 shots faced.
    Last Friday, the Southern Aroostook Lady Warriors were shut out 4-0 by host Greenville.
    Goalie Jess Nye of Southern Aroostook had eight saves on 12 shot attempts. For Greenville, goalie Molly Foley had six saves.
    Last Thursday in Hodgdon, the East Grand girls edged Hodgdon/GHCA, 2-1.
    Shaunna Beaudoin scored both of East Grand’s tallies, while Jamie Theriault scored for Hodgdon.
    Last Wednesday in Dyer Brook, the Ashland Hornets earned a 5-1 win. Five different individuals scored for Ashland.
