    STACYVILLE – Dale Glidden, 92, passed away Sept. 20, 2012, in Orono. He was born in Stacyville, the son of Asa D. and Ella M. (Willette) Glidden.
    He farmed in his early years and then worked for Sherman Lumber Co. for about 25 years. He took care of his lawn and garden until he was 90.
    He is survived by three children, Howard and wife, Pam, of West Enfield, Ella Astle and husband, Bridge, of Sherman, and Justine Michaud and husband, Jerry, of Milford; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille; parents; two brothers, Durward and Leland; and one sister, Irene Barter.
    The family thanks the staff of Orono Commons for his care.
